Product Description
The sporty and lightweight GP series Titanium megaphone style slip-on exhaust systems offer a great balance between price and performance and represent the first step in the exhaust system tuning process. Offering a weight savings along with a performance increase the GP series megaphone style mufflers perfectly fit the exterior line of the GSX-R's and add a MotoGP style racing image. The muffler outer sleeve is made of titanium which gives a special hi-tech touch to the system. Experience the sound only an Akrapovic system can deliver.
The exhaust system modification with the megaphone GP style slip-on system results in a major boost in performance delivering a strong 114.4 HP at 13600 rpm to the back wheel. However the increased power isn’t available just at the top of the RPM range, it's available from 6000 rpm up through the entire rpm range. The maximum increased power between the Akrapovic slip-on and the stock system is 3.1 HP at 9280 rpm. In addition, the torque is substantially higher in a lower rpm area around 3500 rpm and from the middle to high rpm range. Horsepower charts are below along with installation instructions and a datasheet.
