The GPR Stabilizer steering damper kit for Suzuki DR-Z400S will calm down the twitchy handling characteristics of these bikes and is an absolute must have if you are running in Supermoto trim with 17" wheels.  Installing the 17" wheels will alter the rake/trail of the bikes making them twitchy and unstable, especially at higher speeds.  Versions are available for use with standard sized 22mm (7/8") bars or with oversize 25mm (1") bars.


The GPR steering dampers are extremely high quality units and are the same as used on Championship winning teams in World Superbike, GP Racing, AMA Superbike, and many other classes.  Each stabilizer is CNC machined from aerospace grade billet aluminum and then anodized to a spectacular finish.  Featuring complete rebuildability these dampers are built to last a lifetime!  GPR stabilizers are designed, manufactured, assembled, tested, and rebuilt in the USA!


The DRZ kits utilize the GPRv1 dampers and mount above the bars.  Versions with 22mm (7/8") handlebars will use the stock triple clamps where the Pro versions for use with 25mm (1") oversize bars utilize a special billet CNC machined triple clamp included with the kit.  They have 8 steps of damping adjustment and are offered in 8 different color combinations.
