These replacement brake pistons offer a direct fit replacement and are made from a special heat treated phenolic material that will never rust or corrode.  The phenolic material also resists heat transfer and will help to keep the brake fluid cooler resulting in smoother, more consistent fade free braking.  The pistons are also extremely lightweight resulting in less unsprung weight and better handling. 


The pistons are made from a phenolic material that is never going to rust or corrode, you'll never have to worry about a frozen piston again.  Because of the low heat transfer characteristics fade free braking is always ensured.  Not only are they rustproof and resist heat transfer they are also extremely lightweight.  A weight savings of approximately 70% is realized resulting in less unsprung weight and better handling.  Because of the materials utilized, the brake piston does not retain the plastic spacer included by Honda.  This results in a seamless connection between the brake piston and the brake pad giving better feel at the lever and more force transmitted to the pads.

Please Note:  It is common for the same model year to have differing pistons based upon the international market in which the bikes were sold.  Please measure and verify fitment prior to purchase.  These replacement phenolic front brake pistons measure 42.8mm diameter X 34.15mm overall length.  The dust seal lip measures about 5mm in width.  They are a direct replacement for the following models:
