The Ice Masters tire liners provide a secure foundation for you to screw your ice studs into.  It not only provides protection for tubes, but it allows you to use longer screws thereby making the studded tire stronger.  Stronger tires not only last longer but allow you to use more throttle coming out of the turns and more brakes entering the turns.  The liner is thick enough to allow the use of 1" - 1 1/4" length screws for motorcycle tires. 


The rounded edges allow you to install studs securely into the side treads of the tire allowing more control and less wiggle around corners.  Once installed the screws will pull the liner tight against the tire forming a solid semi rigid combination.  The liners are split at the ends, they are not bonded together.  This facilitates much easier installation, once the screws are installed the liners are locked in place.
