Product Description
LSL Crash Pads are designed to absorb and dissipate energy from impacts. The plastic insert deforms on impact and absorbs energy that would otherwise damage your motorcycle. The arched shape acts like a skid and guides the direction of impact. Through better absorption of crash energy the pads reduce potential damage to the frame and/or mounts. Crash Pad shells are machined from aircraft grade billet aluminum. The redesigned round shape prevents the slider from hooking into the pavement or road surface. The fastening system matches existing brackets on the bike making for an easy and good looking installation. Spare replacement parts are also available for easy repair. Mounting kits are sold separately.

For example, the 2003 GSXR1000 mount kit was developed in conjunction with Suzuki Germany under extreme racing conditions. As a direct result of this data the brakets were designed to reinforce the frame at the motor mount and prevent frame damage in the event of a crash.
