Product Description
These OEM style replacement shocks from MDI offer great quality at an economical price. MDI has been manufacturing shocks in Taiwan for many motorcycle OEM's since 1963. All products undergo extensive testing within an ISO9001 manufacturing facility allowing them to meet high OEM quality standards. Shocks are available for many OEM models and are also a great choice for custom projects with a budget.
They are available with chrome/chrome or black/chrome bodies/springs and come in 320mm, 325mm, 330mm, 335mm, and 365mm lengths. Also available are eye to eye (E/E) or eye to clevis (E/C) configurations. Check out our application chart and select your styles above.
The shocks have a 2" (50.5mm) long skirt with a small flare at the top and measure 2.135" (54mm) overall. The spring diameter is 1.965" (50mm) with varying lengths and has a .257" (6.5mm) coil wire thickness. The eyes measure .700" (18mm) thick and the included bushing kits allow for 3/8" (10mm), 1/2" (13mm), or 5/8" (16mm) mounting bolts to be used.
Spare bushing kits are also available to replace worn shock mounting bushings. The shock mounting bushings typically wear at a higher rate than the shocks.
