The Mikuni HSR48 carburetor is designed for the serious engine builder and extreme street motor enthusiast looking for all out raw power.  The HSR48 delivers the highest airflow and most accurate fuel metering for the most power.  An extended main jet design and larger needle valve assembly ensure maximum fuel flow to create an extremely powerful engine.  Recommended for all large bore engines 1200cc and larger with high flow cylinder heads and performance cams. Only intended for experienced engine builders.

This Mikuni HSR48 Race kit is SERIOUS bolt on horsepower for all large bore engines above 1200cc.  Utilizes OEM CV type throttle cables, however the intake manifold, air filter, or velocity stack is NOT included.  All of the following components are included in this kit:

• Mikuni HSR48 flat slide carburetor, polished or unpolished
• Rubber mounting flange with 78mm bolt centers
• Choke cable
• Main jets for fine tuning
• Extra horsepower is always included!

This carb kit comes pre-jetted for immediate installation.  Some fine tuning may be required to attain the desired combination of performance, fuel mileage, and drivability.  Extra main jets are included for tuning and additional genuine Mikuni parts and accessories are always available at low prices.  Alternatively kits can be built utilizing your own jetting specifications.
