The Mikuni TM series flat slide carburetors provide a significant improvement over OEM round slide and CV type carburetors.  The flat slide and venturi designs allow smoother airflow and higher velocities thereby increasing the pressure differential at the needle jet.  This efficient design allows better atomization which enhances throttle response and power output.  The TM36's and TM40's have a low friction carburetor throat coating which decreases the friction that high velocities can cause and speeds up airflow. 

The TM series carburetors from Mikuni are available in a wide variety of sizes from 24mm up to 40mm for a large selection of engine configurations.  The TM33, TM36, and TM40 carburetors are available in pumper versions which significantly enhances throttle response by eliminating the off-idle bog caused by a sudden lean condition from the lack of air velocity in the carburetor throat.  For even more performance check out Mikuni's Pro Series TM Flatslide carburetors in 39mm and 41mm sizes. 

This carburetor is suited for mild to modified motors and can be custom calibrated for immediate use. Standard jetting specifications can be found in the tables below and carburetors can also be calibrated according to your own specifications.
