Motion Pro speedometer cables are designed to exceed OEM specifications.  They are a direct fit replacement and provide a high quality economical alternative to OEM replacements.  The internal nylon sleeve allows for long life and smooth operation and the outer vinyl housing is coil wound for abrasion resistance.  Available in a huge variety of sizes and options there's a Motion Pro cable to meet your needs.  Custom cables are also available, please inquire.


The speedometer cable will fit ALL of the following models:

• 1980-1982 Yamaha SR250
• 1981 Yamaha SR250T
• 1980-1981 Yamaha XS400
• 1979 Yamaha XS400-2

• 1982-1983 Yamaha XT550

IMPORTANT: Motion Pro throttle and clutch cables are supplied dry without lubricant and must be lubricated with Motion Pro Cable Lube (15-0002) prior to use.  All control cables require regular maintenance and lubrication.  Improper cable maintenance will lead to premature cable failure.
