These lowering links from Performance Design offer a very high quality solution to a tall seat height for your Suzuki DR-Z400 motorcycle. The links are CNC machined from aircraft quality billet aluminum and are solidly engineered. Anodized grey they withstand the most adverse conditions and look good after years of use without corrosion or oxidation. They are a direct bolt-on replacement and include instructions with full support.
The links will lower the bike approximately 1" (25mm) depending upon how the spring pre-load is set. This height reduction will need to be complimented with a corresponding reduction of height in the front end, typically by raising the forks tubes upwards in the triple clamps. The lowering will not limit rear wheel travel like other links do and this greatly improves handling with a lower ride height.
